There is a growing demand for high-accuracy angle detection in fields
including in-vehicle electrical components, industrial equipment, and
consumer equipment.
TDK has applied TMR (Tunnel Magneto Resistance) technology, which has
shown excellent results in HDD heads, to develop sensors that are
high-output, very resistant to noise and have excellent angle accuracy.
TDK offers angle sensors with fine temperature characteristics and
stability in a compact package that are easy to use in automobiles.
They are already under mass production, and used in a wide range of
applications including EPS motors, which require accuracy and stability.
